The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) Training Program equips students with the administrative and clinical skills needed to support physicians and healthcare providers in a variety of settings. This program prepares individuals to become multi-skilled allied health professionals who can perform both front-office and back-office duties.
Program Overview

Length: Typically 6–9 months (varies by college or training provider; includes classroom instruction and clinical externship)

Approval: Offered through accredited colleges or training institutions in alignment with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) standards

Purpose: Prepares students for clinical tasks (vital signs, injections, specimen collection, EKGs) and administrative duties (scheduling, billing, electronic health records)
